I was recently asked by Dmitry Shestrin, VP of Marketing for Faronics, to contibute to a green IT e-book. The e-book is targeted to employees in IT companies, filled with articles from contributors on things they can do in their role to living a greener work life.
I contributed a segment on greening the social environment at work (anything from coffee breaks to the occasional employee birthday celebration in-office).

Hi Jennifer. This, I find, a very useful ebook for small offices and large ones.
One point I wish to emphasise is that the IT industry must stop their current practice of using hardware (and software) obsolescene as a tool for business growth and profit enhancement. The large generation of ewaste, led by the IT industry, contributes very largely to climate crisis.
